Learning Japanese Kanji With Pictures – Name

Learning Japanese Kanji With Pictures - Name - namae
Meaning
Name
Kunyoumi
な - na
Onyoumi
メイ - mei、 ミョウ - myou

You can see that there is a kuchi (mouth) 口 radical as part of a kanji, so to remember this kanji 名 (name) remember it as a mouth yelling out a name. To further remember the left side radical  , it looks the katakana letter of ダ(Da) hence remember it as someone’s mouth yelling the name “Dave”!
